I have wanted to get involved in more of the challenges that are being issued in the blog world. When I saw the inspiration for the November Art Bead Scene challenge, I knew I had to get to work.
Tree of Life, Stoclet Frieze, 1909
Gustav Klimt 1862-1918
I apologize for the poor quality of these photos, but it is cold and rainy,
there just wasn't any light today. Seems we spent the whole day in twilight.

Oh I love the tree of life.Lovely jewelery too. Thanks for sharing!I know what you mean about light.Today we are having a dark and dreary day here.
Was für ein wundervoller Tree of Life, liebe Renate!!!
your interpretation is so wonderful! i was so intrigued by your sneak peek... i love the asymmetrical balance... the colors - the wirework! simply lovely -
I am a huge fan of Klimt's work. I am enjoying seeing everyone's interpretation of Tree of Life through their jewelry creations. Your piece came out beautifully. This must have been such a fun one to participate in..and I am a huge fan of spirals!
Oh what a treat to find your blog via Moments of Mine! Very unique and creative idea for your Tree of Life. I have always loved the images springing forth from those words...
I really like your jewelry design...whimsical and funky. Love it. I will be following to continue to feast my eyes...
That's a great interpretation of the Klimt. Your wirework is just amazing! The use of copper is particularly special-- that material was very well liked by those artists. Beautiful work!
