more earrings

More cone earrings using the faux shibuichi technique.

The colour and the texture of the metal are fascinating - I have some more pieces of this in the making for prayer scrolls.

I love those glass beads that look like old coke bottles. You have been a busy bee and it looks great.

Tolle Teile! Und ja, diesen Shibuichi-Fake find ich auch hinreißend. Wie hast Du das gemacht? Ist mir bisher noch nicht untergekommen - würd ich aber gern mal ausprobieren. Ich behalt Dich im Auge. ;)

S/R - these are such good pieces - intricate patterns and as others have said ethnic folk-hippie earthy look about them. How do you do the "faux shibuichi technique"? And it will look excellent around scrolls. Go well. B

What beautiful earrings, Renate! I like this new line of metal-shaped cones. It's amazing how each pair you have created are all so different. I like the vintage buttons in the top set, and all of the dangles in the second set.
