another amulet

This piece was made on commission and was picked up today. It is a good bit smaller than the one I made for Max - this one is about 3 cm in diameter and riveted. I have already started another one - apparently they are a bit addictive.

Your new amulet is a beautiful piece of art dear Ren, love the way you hammered the copper, the (may be) polymer clay with symbols in the middle.

I like the addition of the rings on the circumference of the pendant, Renate. The ivory against the copper is a nice colour combination. The symbols look good too.

What a faulous piece Renate, I can see where this would be an addiction.

It is so striking and unique Renate...a real gem! I love the contrast of materials. I love how it looks to me that there are fingers clutching it from behind!

What an interesting piece! I don't think I would be able to part with it.

What a great piece. I have never made any but I always find them intriguing...are amulets made to provide some kind of protection or nature spirit in mind?
