The dreaded S-word

This is what greeted me when darkness lifted this morning. Winter is here, seriously.

It kept snowing all morning. It won't last, but they are predicting a drop in the temperature. Meaning we will be looking at a high of 1-2° C (thats 33° for you Fahrenheit people). I won't even tell you what they are predicting as a low temperature.

I sewed this heart pouch to use as a "gift wrap" for a necklace. It was fun to do some sewing for a change of pace. Now I have to get back to the jewelry - I have to finish some commission work.

Hope you are all enjoying your long weekend.

Oh yes we have lots of the S-word and more coming. Just step carefully so as not to slip and fall. Your necklace heart wrapping is lovely. What an added gift. Happy creating...

Janna

we had sleet yesterday - but often, being near the ocean keeps things a bit warmer... wondering what the cats thought of it all, or if they were just happy to have a fire! the wrapping is wonderful...

Renate your weather made it on the news tonight in New Orleans. We've had a 30 degree drop in temperatures from yesterday. Keep warm!

Beautiful sewn pouch Renate! It will be the perfect wrap!
We has wet snow yesterday, and now it is getting very cold. Pretty to see for a while, but I can do without it. Let's try to make the best of it!

Oh how perfectly horrible! :( And I feel so guilty Hermanita, because I was just whining to LW this morning that it's gotten cold these morning. I won't even tell you what that temperature was!! I don't want to be the cause of any cases of winter depression!

33 degrees is too cold for this Fahrenheit person! I like snow, but only in pictures :)

Cute heart pouch! I've been wanting to pull out my sewing machine for months, but I think it will still be months before that actually happens.

Happy November!

Stay close to your fire and enjoy that wood you cut earlier this year. I had to scrape frost off my car window this morning but no snow, I'm lucky in that regard. Have a warm week-end.

Oh wow, SNOW already!!! :-( I'm sorry to see that - I'm such a wimp about cold weather. I'll take the sunshine (and the beach) any day. I just can't believe it is already that time of year again. Seems like yesterday when you started reporting this cold weather in your side of the globe. I hope you are staying warm, dear friend!
Your heart pouch is amazing! You, Sharon and Pattie are all so amazing with both beads and fabric!!
