Aaawww - look at that face!

Sorry - no trip to the flea market today! I went to the airport to pick up Max. And now, he is on his way to Vienna. A busy time of year for him.

As for me - well I have been invaded adopted. Last weekend's weather did not only bring very low temps, but also a young cat, that apparently shares my views about cold winter weather. He has decided to live in my studio. My kitties are really not too thrilled about him. So, I tried to discourage him - honest. But will you look at that face?

My kitties are taking it better than I expected. But I am starting to wonder. See this 'nest' I have by the front door?

Well, today I caught Socks in there. I wonder if the stress of another cat in the house has been too much for her?

Well, I think she is just goofing around and enjoying the mild weather and sunshine. But I will keep an eye open to see if she's getting into the birdseed...

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

That bird can't be very comfortable to sit on.

Love your new kitty! He does have a very sweet face. Keep him keep him!!!

Irresistable. We have a neighborhood cat that looks quite a lot like that. He comes and 'knocks' on my front door every morning. I loved to let him in but he does have a home. But if that one in your studio showed up homeless in the cold at my house he'd definitely be in my house.

Sounds like you have some confused kitties in your house, must be the effects of the nasty winter! Your "adopted" kitty has a sweet face, he knows it is a good place to live.

He does have an adorable face! And the kitty in the nest... looks like a perfect little spot for a furry behind. I have a photo from years ago of a former cat friend looking very owly sitting on a small stick nest on my dining room table... He didn't seem to notice the sharp, pointy things he was perched on, he seemed to think it a perfect place for him!

But do watch to see if the birdseed is disappearing faster than usual! And I see, you DON:T have any snow!!

What a cute post!! Looks like Socks is trying to hatch a bird... We have a beautiful tom cat that has been trying to adopt us, but he actually "belongs" to our neighbors. :) Happy Sunday, Renate!! Love, Silke

Kitty pictures are wonderful.

I thought bringing Vernon home would help keep Max company after Buddy died. But they're fighting over who is the alpha. Everything will be fine for a long time and then the little one will go all King of the Beasts. Crazy kitties! How I love them all.

I think the last cat you nursed got the word out about you, so they know where to go for some loving!

Enjoy the sunshine with your furry friends!

Welcome back, Renate. I missed you! It is no surprise this kitty found YOU! I do think he has a very sweet face, how can you turn him away?? Not you, I know. I'm glad to hear the temperature has warmed up a bit for you. We actually have weather in the 50's here which is wonderful.

I love tiger kitties and the fact that he has adopted your studio is a real compliment. I hope your other cats are not too 'miffed' and they will be happy together!

Thanks for your kind words on my first digital piece!!

Love the cat sitting on the nest! My cat sits on all sorts of things she shouldn't, just so you can't get at them!

Ahhh...your kitties are your babies aren't they? And, when a new one comes around I am sure the others get a little jealous.

Inge:-)
