And now for something different...

I finally have something I can show you. I have been working on things, but nothing I was able to show you yet. Yesterday, I finished these earrings - copper, brass heishis, bone and antler tips. They are fairly long and have a lot of movement.

As in - the bottom part will turn round and round.
Trying some new things - working with different materials - trying to get a different look.

We will see how this progresses.

WOW!! those are a departure for you--much edgier, with a more architectural, geometric feel. and sort of ethnic! but still with that natural feeling because of the materials. LOVE them!! love the "engineering"! (it would be cool to see a little video of them swinging in a breeze...) Can't wait to see more!!

You nailed these, Renate! They are wonderfully, different! I would be way out of my comfort zone with these materials. Can't wait to see more.

I'm loving this "new" look Hermanita!!! Actually I can see you hidden in them. Everything you touch has an ethereal, fantasy and feminine feel. You have the rare gift of being able to capture a woman's dreams of a romantic world. And for that I'm always thankful and in total awe!!

Has Spring started to peek out from her hiding place yet??? hang in there I just know she'll be bursting out soon!!

R-always a pleasure to visit another creator who uses copper, brass etc. The design and worked metal in these earrings have resulted in a unique pair. Look forward to seeing more of your work. B

Liebe Renate,

Wow.
