Get excited - Gift from Diane
Yesterday, I received my Get Excited gift from Diane at Diane's Mixed Art - this lovely little collage, covered with wax. This is a technique that I haven't tried yet, so it is a very intriguing piece.

That is such a sweet little piece! I love the whole collage and then the beeswax finish - it gives it such a dreamy look. I might have to try that... What a great gift!! :) Silke

It's lovely! The wax technique is one my friend uses on mixed media sculpture/canvas pieces. You should try it. She says it is great fun.
And I haven't forgotten my own get excited contribution. They are all boxed up waiting to go (still). Alice is gaurding them so you may find a stray doggie hair.

What a lovely gift. I love wax finishes on collages. My sister uses it alot, it gives things such a soft muted appearance. I love it. Perfect for the cat lover!
