Another piece for the Jewellery Challenge
Just finished another piece for Deryn's Jewellery Challange! I loved making this Pod Pendant for the Project Wrapped Beads Necklace - I shaped the pod on the anvil with a hammer. I didn't polish it much, because I wanted the hammer marks and the fire patina to be visible. The pod is made of copper and inside are copper beads and the same semiprecious stone beads (probably enhanced turquoise) I used for the cone necklace. I really like the organic look.

beautiful! I love the double spiral piece in the center. I can see a version of this as a focal on a bracelet, pieced at both ends and curverd slightly.
Another wonderful piece, Renate! I'm so glad you're working on this challenge!
Gorgeous Renate...I love the "raw" look to this -- challenges bring things we didn't know we had inside us!
I just love this! Your little pea pod is really special!
Doreen: Thank you so much for your comment. Don't know what the problem is, but I can't comment on your blog, sorry. I just loved those beads you sent Christie (drool)! And Casey is really cute!
