More fall impressions

This morning the sun was coming up through the mist again, looking like a big red ball of fire (now that I think of it, it IS a big ball of fire) and I couldn't resist. Anyone that has seen enough "sunrise in the mist", please move on to the next interesting blog!

Love the glow of the sun reflecting on the clouds here!

When I drove off to work a few minutes later, I drove directly into the fog.
Had to stop and take more photos!

More fall impressions on the way home.

You've been keeping your eyes open and your camera at the ready Renate. These are beautiful photographs...the mist is somewhat ethereal!! And that red ball of fire just glows!

Some great contrasts here; light, shadow, mist - and then those bright scarlet berries.

At first I thought they were red currants but it's too late for them now - and the stalks are not of red currants.

Do you know what they are?

Love how you have captured some of the 'Dawn Chorus" sitting in the trees in the 3rd photo. We have had red skies yesterday - not from autumn mist but from a massive dust storm

That sun in the fog is beautiful. I can feel the mist in the air.

What wonderful pictures Renate!!! There is an old sailor's rhyme that says "Red sky in the morning sailors take warning. Red sky at night sailors delight". Is there something like that in German???

Your photos are always such a delight to see!!

I love looking at your photographs. Today my favorite was the red berries against the red tinged leaves. SO perfect!

Isn't the change of seasons just a beautiful time of year?! I've been living in the midwest for over 15 years and the color changes never cease to amaze me! I love Fall and Winter!
